About Scholarships

last revised April 11, 2005

In order to make sure that musicians and students are not left out of the music/tech debate, we have created a limited amount of scholarships for this event. This way, many of the audience participants will be those who the biggest stake in the policy debate – musicians themselves. Note that the scholarship only waives your registration fees. FMC cannot cover travel or lodging expenses.

How to Apply

Applying for a scholarship is simple. Just give us a paragraph or two describing your musician background and explaining why you're interested in receiving a scholarship. (now closed)

After you hit "submit", your info will be sent to us (you'll get a copy in your inbox as well), where it will be reviewed by our scholarship coordinator. Then she will promptly inform you via email about the status of your application.

Help us help more musicians!

You can help us to have as diverse and enthusiastic audience as possible by letting other musicians, label mates, students and songwriters know about the scholarship opportunities for both this DC Policy Day and the Policy Summit.
