Scholarships for Working Musicians

All the scholarships have been granted for this Policy Day

In order to make sure that musicians are not left out of the music/technology debate, we offer artist scholarships for all our events. This way, many of the audience participants are those who have the biggest stake in the policy debate – musicians themselves.

Thanks to some generous contributions from foundations, technology companies, sponsors, musician advocacy groups, an average of 200 musicians have been able to attend FMC's Policy Summits for free.

Note that the scholarship only waives registration fees. FMC cannot cover travel or lodging expenses.

When applying, musicians give us a paragraph or two that describe your musician background and explains why you're interested in receiving a scholarship.

After hitting "submit", your info is reviewed by our musician scholarship coordinator. Then we'll get back to you shortly about the status of your application.

Help us help more musicians!

You can help us to have as diverse and enthusiastic audience as possible by letting other musicians, label mates, and songwriters know about the DC Policy Day and the scholarship opportunities. Add a linked image to your website or MySpace page.
