The Virginian Suites are a 7 minute walk from the Rosslyn metro station, which is on the Orange and Blue line. The Virginian Suites also offers a free shuttle bus to the Rosslyn metro stop during the morning and evening rush hour.

To get to GWU on the Metro you can take either an Orange train towards New Carrolton or a Blue train towards Largo. Go one stop and get off at Foggy Bottom/GWU. If you need directions from the metro stop, go here

Hostels

For attendees traveling to the Policy Summit on a budget, there are many hostels and guest houses in the Washington, DC area. Two recommended hostels with quick access to GWU are:

Hostelling International: 1009 11th Street, NW Washington, DC 20001, 202-737-2333
Hostelling International offers a traditional American hostel close to the White House and four blocks from the Metro. With free wireless internet in lobby, security lockers, luggage storage and 24 hour check in this may be your best budget bet for an active downtown location.
Non-members will pay about $29 a night.

The Hilltop Hostel: 300 Carroll St. NW, Washington, DC , 202-291-9591
Formerly the India House Too, this hostel in the Takoma Park neighborhood is a converted Victorian hotel listed on the register of historic buildings. DSL, parking, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. At $22 a night, they accept cash or travelers checks only.
