Mark Your Calendar: Future of Music Summit 2013

We are thrilled to announce that the Future of Music Summit is returning for its twelfth year on October 28-29, 2013, and you are invited! Musicians, managers, policymakers, legal experts, technologists, academics, media representatives, industry professionals and more are all welcome to attend and participate in this year’s dialogue and panel discussions regarding the future of the music community.
Registration will be opening soon, but in the meantime, you can checkout highlights from past years’ events. Previous Summit events have included musicians like T-Bone Burnett , Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, and Damian Kulash of Ok Go. Panelists have also included Daniel Ek of Spotify and Tim Westergren of Pandora . We’ve have tackled issues like net neutrality, sampling law, and changes in the ticketing industry. This years installment will address a wide range of topics relevant to the entire music community, from healthcare rollout, to copyright law, to equitable revenue distribution.
